Overview
The goal of the Fool's journey is to help you understand and fulfill the real purpose of your life here on Earth.
It is an inner journey that seeks a transformation of consciousness to a non-individual level, which is entirely outside the bounds of ordinary, sensory reality.
The journey ultimately involves the death of the ego/personality. What dies is the exclusive conscious identification of the self with the body. A new body is built—subtle and non-physical in nature, into which one’s consciousness is transferred. This process is known as palingenesis, a term used in the ancient Orphic mysteries to denote rebirth into another ontological level—another level of reality.
The work consists of two parts.
- First comes a thorough understanding of the concepts involved, which include ourselves as physical/spiritual beings and how we came to lose this understanding. A map is presented which outlines the journey steps in symbolic form. These steps must be understood, but what is most important is the knowledge that there is such a process that can bring us back into full awareness of the spiritual domains and the part of ourselves that resides there, the divine, loving part that we are barely aware of in normal life.
- The second part consists of practices designed to open our awareness to these realms. This part uses techniques of breathing, visualization and stilling the mind. Original music is an integral part of the process; it is used in unique ways to facilitate and shorten the journey.
Introductory meetings and workshops are given, as well as on-going small classes. Printed materials are available, as well as CDs and DVDs of the introductory and class material, visualizations and music.
What is a Fool?
As used on this site, the word "fool" is a technical term. You are a fool if:
- you are not afraid to look foolish in front of your friends as you pursue your own spiritual development.
- you don't always do what your friends are doing, thus incurring their resentment, alienation and possibly fear. Instead, you do what you know you need to do - which is always inner work on yourself - to discover shy you came here in the first place.
- you decide to seek, practice and then understand certain knowledge which will transform you into the realm of love, beyond all fear, and beyond death.
The purpose of this site is not to tell you what your purpose on Earth is (you have to figure that out for yourself), but to help you gain the inner clarity and skills to not only understand it, but to be able to pursue it successfully.
Where did all this stuff come from?
As you explore our site, you may wonder about this. Much of it comes from ancient traditions from both the West and the East. Some comes from yoga traditions in India. Some comes from classical Tantra traditions (sorry, no "tantra" sex on this site). Some comes from Sufic influences that came to the West during the Middle Ages. A bit derives from alchemy and the Hermetic tradition.
But certain key elements on this site are new discoveries. All the Tarot material is original, as is its association with the Zodiac. The Fool's Journey is also original. It derives from ancient traditional practices, but they have never been presented in this form before, nor have they ever been presented so openly.
Our purpose
It is time for many secrets to be revealed to as many people as possible who are interested in their own spiritual development. The purpose of this site is to show one path of development - and to show that alternatives our of the Hell we all live in today is possible with the right kind of inner work. The language here is fresh and new - new metaphors and no (well, only a few) hoary references.
The central point of this site is a map of the Fool's Journey. This is a map of archetypes, and the relationships among them. In simpler words, it is a map of the states of the inner and outer worlds and how you can transform your inner world so as to arrive at the end of the journey: a transformed consciousness that has a 24/7, always-on, high-speed, broadband connection to divine and spiritual realms of existence. An inner Golden Age.
We warn you, though. You must learn to become a warrior against yourself to be successful. You must go to war against your desire, anger, greed, delusion, pride and envy. This is hard, but not impossible.
But why would anyone want to do this? To arrive at a state of love, an all-encompassing state of loving bliss that was once the normal human state. To receive grace, which is always given (by those unseen) to us when we make sufficient progress along a path or journey such as this one.
Do not give up, warrior-fool, for the reward is greater than any cost.
Come, come, whoever you are,
Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving,
It doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of dispair.
Come, come even if you have broken your vows a thousand times.
